Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Agent Chain ("the Service") — including the agent-chain.io website, REST API, JavaScript SDK, CLI (
@agent-chain/cli), MCP server (@agent-chain/mcp-server), and all 12 Agent Chain products — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.2. Service Description
Agent Chain provides a Web4 blockchain AI agent ecosystem consisting of 12 products accessible under a single API key:
- Agent ID (AC-1) — W3C DID-based agent identity, Ed25519 signatures, Verifiable Credentials
- Agent Scanner (AC-2) — Real-time AI output scanning for injection, hallucination, PII, and exfiltration
- Trust Network (AC-3) — Peer attestation and behavioral trust scoring
- Threat Intel (AC-4) — STIX 2.1 crowdsourced threat database
- SDK + MCP + CLI (AC-5) — Full developer toolset
- Agent Audit (AC-6) — Compliance frameworks: EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001, SOC 2, OWASP LLM Top 10
- Shadow Network (AC-7) — Honeypot agent deployment with MITRE ATT&CK mapping
- Agent Firewall (AC-8) — Rule-based traffic filtering, quarantine, and rate limiting
- Agent Tracker (AC-9) — Rogue agent detection and correlation
- Agent Chain (AC-10) — Immutable L1 blockchain, Agent NFTs, block explorer
- Payments (AC-11) — Agent-to-Agent micropayments, payment channels
- Agent Marketplace (AC-12) — Buy and sell agents, skills, and capabilities
3. Account Registration
- You must provide a valid email address or connect a compatible Web3 wallet to create an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys and authentication tokens
- You may not share your API key with third parties or use it to circumvent per-user rate limits
- One account per user. Duplicate accounts to accumulate free-tier quota are prohibited
4. API Usage and Quotas
API call quotas are allocated per subscription tier and shared across all products and interfaces (REST API, SDK, MCP, CLI):
- Free — 1,000 calls/month · 100 ACC credits · $0/month
- Hobby — 5,000 calls/month · 200 ACC credits · $4.99/month
- Starter — 20,000 calls/month · 300 ACC credits · $14.99/month
- Scale — 75,000 calls/month · 400 ACC credits · $49.99/month
- Pro — 150,000 calls/month · 500 ACC credits · $99.99/month
- Business — 400,000 calls/month · 600 ACC credits · $249.99/month
- Enterprise — 1,000,000 calls/month · 1,000 ACC credits · $499.99/month
10% discount applies to annual billing. Crypto payments accepted. Exceeding your quota will result in
429 Too Many Requests responses until the next billing cycle.5. Marketplace Terms
- Listing fee: 0.5% of listing price at time of listing
- Sale fee: 1% of final sale price, deducted at settlement
- All listed agents, skills, and capabilities must be your own creation or you must have rights to sell them
- Agent Chain reserves the right to remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable law
- Unless expressly labeled as an official Agent Chain product, marketplace agents, skills, listings, code, files, claims, and services are third-party content. Agent Chain is not the seller, developer, operator, guarantor, or insurer of those third-party items.
- You assume all risk for reviewing, purchasing, installing, running, relying on, or integrating third-party marketplace content.
6. Acceptable Use
You may not use Agent Chain to:
- Deploy agents designed to harm, defraud, or manipulate other users or systems
- Conduct automated attacks (DoS, DDoS, brute force) against any infrastructure
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including export control laws
- Reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label the Agent Chain platform without written authorization
- Circumvent rate limits through multiple accounts or credential sharing
- List agents, skills, or tools on the Marketplace that contain malware, backdoors, or unauthorized surveillance
7. On-Chain Data and Immutability
Agent registrations, NFT mints, and blockchain transactions are recorded on the Agent Chain L1 and are permanent and publicly visible. You accept that this data cannot be deleted. You are responsible for ensuring the data you submit complies with applicable privacy laws before it is written on-chain.
8. Payments and Refunds
- Fiat subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; you retain access until the end of the billing period
- Crypto payments are non-refundable once confirmed on-chain
- Marketplace transactions are final once settled on-chain
- Agent Chain is not responsible for losses due to wallet errors, lost private keys, or incorrect wallet addresses
- Blockchain, wallet, NFT, token, escrow, and payment activity may be irreversible, volatile, delayed, blocked, exploited, or lose value. You are solely responsible for wallet security, transaction review, tax treatment, and compliance decisions.
9. Intellectual Property
Agent Chain retains all ownership of the platform, API infrastructure, and branding. You retain ownership of agents, code, and content you create. By listing on the Marketplace, you grant Agent Chain a non-exclusive license to display your listing.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. AGENT CHAIN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY, AND RELIABILITY.
AGENT CHAIN DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT AI, SECURITY, THREAT-INTELLIGENCE, COMPLIANCE, BLOCKCHAIN, MARKETPLACE, OR PAYMENT OUTPUTS WILL BE COMPLETE, ACCURATE, LAWFUL, PROFITABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES. OUTPUTS FROM AI SYSTEMS CAN BE INCOMPLETE, WRONG, OR MISLEADING AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE LEGAL, FINANCIAL, SECURITY, OR REGULATORY ADVICE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AGENT CHAIN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, ENHANCED, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOST REVENUE; LOST DATA; LOSS OF GOODWILL; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; SECURITY INCIDENTS; THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT; MARKETPLACE DISPUTES; WALLET OR KEY LOSS; SMART CONTRACT FAILURE; TOKEN OR NFT VALUE CHANGES; BLOCKED, FAILED, OR IRREVERSIBLE TRANSACTIONS; OR RELIANCE ON ANY AI OR SECURITY OUTPUT.
YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SERVICE IS TO STOP USING THE SERVICE. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, AGENT CHAIN'S TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID AGENT CHAIN FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR $100.
12. Termination
Agent Chain may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, abusive API usage, or any activity that poses a security risk to the platform. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@agent-chain.io.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Agent Chain operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration before seeking court relief.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time with at least 14 days' notice for material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
