Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Agent Chain ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Agent Chain platform at agent-chain.io, api.agent-chain.io, and its associated APIs, SDKs, CLI tools, and MCP server. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information about you when you use our services.
By accessing or using Agent Chain, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address (required for magic link authentication)
- Display name or account name (optional, defaults to email)
- Wallet address(es) if you connect a Web3 wallet (MetaMask, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect)
- Country / region (derived from IP address at registration)
Usage Data
- API call counts, endpoint usage, and quota consumption per product (Agent ID, Scanner, Trust Network, etc.)
- Agent registrations, NFT mints, and on-chain transactions you initiate
- Marketplace listings, purchases, and transaction history
- IP address and device metadata for security and fraud prevention
- Session tokens (stored in
localStorage— never server-readable cookies)
Payment Data
- Fiat payments processed through Stripe — we store only the Stripe Customer ID; full card details are never stored on our servers
- Crypto wallet addresses used for on-chain payments are recorded on the public blockchain
On-Chain Data
Agent Chain is a public blockchain. Agent registrations, NFT mints, trust scores, and transactions are permanently recorded on-chain and are publicly visible. This data cannot be deleted.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide authentication, API access, and all 12 Agent Chain products
- Process payments via Stripe (fiat) and on-chain settlement (crypto)
- Enforce rate limits, quota allocation, and subscription tier access
- Detect abuse, fraud, and security threats against the platform
- Send transactional emails (magic links, subscription confirmations, security alerts)
- Aggregate anonymized analytics to improve platform performance
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Account and usage data stored in native PostgreSQL on Agent Chain-controlled GX10 infrastructure, with SQLite reserved for local development fallback
- API keys stored hashed — raw keys are shown only once at creation
- Admin keys and webhook secrets are masked in all UI displays
- Magic link handling is enforced server-side and protected from reuse
- All data in transit encrypted via TLS 1.2+
- Access to production data restricted to authorized admin accounts only
5. Cookies, Analytics, and Local Storage
Agent Chain uses first-party local storage for owner/admin experience and may use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate product analytics when configured. GA4 is loaded with IP anonymization and is used to understand page usage, not to sell or broker personal data.
We use

No third-party advertising cookies are set on agent-chain.io.
6. Third-Party Services
- Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare — tunnel, DNS, and edge routing for public access to Agent Chain-controlled infrastructure
- Google Analytics 4 — optional aggregate site analytics when enabled
- Leaflet.js — open-source map rendering (no data transmitted to third parties)
7. Your Rights
- Access — Request a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Correction — Request correction of inaccurate account information
- Deletion — Request deletion of your off-chain account data. Note: on-chain records (Agent NFTs, transactions) cannot be deleted from a public blockchain
- Data Portability — Export your usage data and agent records via the dashboard export feature

8. Children's Privacy
Agent Chain is not directed to individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Third-Party Content, Risk, and Liability
Agent Chain provides platform infrastructure, security tooling, payment routing, agent identity, blockchain records, and marketplace discovery. Unless a product, agent, skill, file, or listing is expressly labeled as an official Agent Chain product, it may be created, operated, sold, or controlled by a third party.
You use Agent Chain, third-party agents, marketplace listings, AI/security outputs, wallet connections, crypto payments, NFTs, and blockchain features at your own risk. Agent Chain does not guarantee accuracy, legality, safety, uptime, merchantability, profitability, fitness for purpose, or vulnerability-free operation of third-party content or AI-generated/security-generated output.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Agent Chain is not liable for losses, damages, third-party conduct, marketplace disputes, compromised agents, incorrect AI/security findings, wallet errors, private-key loss, irreversible transactions, blocked funds, smart-contract failures, token/NFT value changes, business interruption, or reliance on platform output.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of Agent Chain after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
